HISTORY

In 1953 M. Aurelio Moles Garcés founded Esencias Moles S.A., a family company dedicated to the design and production of fragrances. Totally focused on our customers in order to give them service and to satisfy their needs of the whole world, EMSA managed to have a place on the fragrance market thanks to its competitive advantage of an extensive experience .

With the third generation leading the business, EMSA , located in Cervelló (Barcelona), has modern facilities of more than de 6000 m2 with automatic and semi-automatic systems for blending.

EMSA currently has a production plant in Argentina and local offices in different countries around the world, in order to be close to our customers and to be able to respond to their needs with speed and agility.

We design and manufacture fragrance for powered air care, continuous air care and scented candles. We have a highly qualified team, dedicated to the study and evaporation control of our perfumes in different media (reed diffusers, candles, plug-in…)

TEXTILE CARE

We design and manufacture fragrances for textile care, always searching for the perfume which matches best with the concept that our customer wants to transmit, the most sustainable and most performant.

PERSONAL CARE

We design and manufacture fragrances for any Personal Care Products. There are fragrances with specific technical, legal, and olfactory specifications that EMSA applied with strictness.

HOUSEHOLD

We design and manufacture fragrances for household, always searching the perfume which matches best with the concept and the most sustainable.

FINE FRAGRANCE

We design and manufacture selective and exclusive fragrances for Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum that we adapt to every market according to its specifications. We research and analyze market trends in order to be able to offer our customers innovative fragrances that will captivate and make their final customer dream.

We analyze the market, we study new trends and new perfumes.

We systematically apply selected fragrances on the formulation for what they were designed, we test them , we study their performance ,we verify their stability and we evaluate them in order to offer always winning fragrances to our customers

Investigation & Instrumental Laboratory , laboratory of application and evaluation department work together for a common project : continuous improvement and applied research in order to satisfy our customer needs and to respond to their technical issues.

EMSA STANDS FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Esencias Moles. S.A. is pleased to participate as a validator in the Boocell project (PLEC 2021 008210 project, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR) coordinated by the University of Cordoba.

This project aims to combine biotechnology and materials science to provide society with sustainable materials from renewable sources such as cellulose and biopolymers.

Thus, the way to produce bacterial and vegetable nanocellulose (e.g. from straw) will be studied for the development of active microcapsules whose application, among others, includes the incorporation and fragrance release in different cosmetic and/or home care products.
